This is a very HOT pickle. Admittedly there are hotter products available for anyone who values heat more than flavour, but this pickle has both heat AND flavour and will not disappoint you!

As with our Hot Chilli Pickle, we remove the stalks by hand and discard any chillies which are not in perfect condition. They are then shredded to ensure a good mix with the base sauce.

Whenever possible, we use red Scotch Bonnet chillies for this pickle, but occasionally we have to use mixed colours resulting in a colour change. This does not in any way diminish the flavour or heat of the finished product.

No artificial colouring
No artificial preservatives
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Contains no dairy
After opening, refrigeration is optional. It is not essential.

The BEST hot pickle on earth!

I cannot recommend this pickle enough. It is my favourite condiment of all time when enjoying a spicy meal. Incredibly versatile addition to your larder!

The world’s greatest chilli

This is without a doubt the best chilli product I have ever tasted in my entire life. And I have tried a lot of Chilli sauces. The reviews and emails on this site say it all. There are some great chilli sauces and pickles out there on the market, many of them are tiny batch production and take a life time to discover. This one is however in a completely different league to anything else I have discovered. Mythical and legendary this pickle has never ceased to amaze me. This is not just about heat but incredible flavour too. When you first crack open a new jar the heat is intense and sometimes overwhelming and one treads with care with tight portion control. However, strangely, every time one comes to finishing the jar a few weeks or months later the heat always seems to completely subside and the flavour becomes so compelling that you simply can’t get enough of it and portions just expand and expand. If you’re in to chillis and pickles It doesn’t get any better than this!!!

From one chutney man to another

My business, in Thailand, is making chutneys and sauces. Some of mine are spicy but for the real deal I always go back to a jar of your Scotch Bonnet Pickle. Perfectly balanced flavours and perfectly balanced heat are a subtle dance. You have done it perfectly for many many years. Since my first jar at the White Horse, in Hedgerley, some 15 years ago I have been hooked.

Scotch Bonnet Pickle

Scotch Bonnet Pickle ; A jar was given to us as a present by a family member because of our love of spicy foods. Other then at breakfast time we have used your pickle for lunches & dinner and even in soups.

Our bottle is nearly empty after 3 weeks and I have placed an order for 5 more jars and will also look forward to trying your Brinjal pickle.
